Marand and openEHR Foundation hosted an openEHR Day on Wednesday, 22nd of November 2017, in London, United Kingdom. The event was dedicated to exploring the opportunities and challenges of open standard solutions that are designed to manage all forms of electronic health data, especially EHR.

Andy Blofield, CIO of Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust, Jon Reed, Great Ormond Street Hospital 100,000 Genomes Project, Tomaž Gornik, CEO of Marand, Matic Meglič, Digital Health Director Medtronic and other speakers focused on lessons learned from a number of cases powered by vendor-neutral data concept and their vision for openEHR.

Speaking sessions and a panel discussion provided an introduction to openEHR for novices, along with guests talking about their experiences with openEHR, its implementation, scale of the opportunity, and vision for its capabilities to facilitate interoperability in health IT.
